Preventative Care

Vaccinations, Heartworm, Flea & Tick Prevention

Preventative care comes in many forms for our patients. Many factors influence what is needed such as housing, lifestyle, and breed. Regular heartworm, flea, and tick prevention is an important part of your pet’s healthy life. Yearly fecal and heartworm testing is recommended by the American Heartworm Society. Every dog and cat should receive a veterinary examination/health evaluation at least annually with appropriate vaccinations.
