Kelly Estes
Practice Manager
Kelly is a Clinton native and has been in the veterinary industry for 15 years. She is happily married to her husband Michael of 20 years. She has two beautiful daughters and a wonderful son-in-law as well as 4 rescue pets that have found their forever home with her, 2 cats, a 15-year-old miniature poodle, and a 3-year-old tripod Goldendoodle.
Kane Carbonneau
Inventory Manager
Kane is a Clinton Native, an alumni of Clinton High School class of ’07, and a world traveler. He returned to South Carolina in 2020 after living in Hawaii for 5 years working in food and beverage. He started at Clinton Animal Hospital in August of 2020. Kane has a dog named Pickles which he rescued while living in Hawaii and has since rescued a cat named Kimchi.
Amy Bagwell
Receptionist/Rescue Coordinator
Amy has 15 years of experience in the veterinary field. She loves to help animals in need and educate the community about caring for their pets. She’s a member of Heart of LCAC, a rescue that helps Laurens County animals in need. She also volunteers for Laurens County Animal Control. Amy has been married for 30 years and has 2 sons and 2 grandchildren as well as 10 dogs and 1 cat. Roll Tide!
Betty Burns
Surgery Technician
Betty has been working in the veterinary industry for 15 years. She has also been happily married for 15 years. She has 10 dogs, 10 cats, 2 possums that she actively foster and rehab. She is a foster for Too Broke Girls Rescue and LCAC and is the founder of Heart of LCAC, a rescue organization for pets in Laurens County. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and furbabies.
Shannon Bledsoe
Receptionist
Shannon is another of our Clinton natives and has been with the practice since 2017. She has 8 dogs and 1 cat. She loves dachshunds and the Seattle Seahawks.
Liza Lominack
Lead Veterinary Technician
Liza is a Newberry native and has been with our practice since 2012. She has been married for 11 years and she has 2 girls, 3 dogs, 3 cats, and is a big USC fan. GO GAMECOCKS!
Leann Hill
Veterinary Technician
Leann started working at our practice in 2022. She is a cat lover that has 5 cats and a lot of patience fish. She is currently going to Piedmont Tech to become a licensed veterinary technician.
Cara Davis
Veterinary Technician
Cara started working with us in 2021. She has 4 beautiful dogs and is going to school to become a Veterinary Technician. Her plans are to further her education and get a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
Selena Gann
Social Media Support
Selena started at Clinton Animal Hospital in early 2020 and moved to part time in 2022 to pursue a career in working with battered women after completing her degree in human services. She has been happily married to her husband Andrew for 2 years. She has 2 rescue schnoodles, Walnut and Willow. Selena loves to read and spend time with her family and church friends.
Ryan Baker
Veterinary Technician
Ryan started with our practice in 2016. He attended USC for Biology. When not at work he loves to travel, hike, and go to the lake.
Kay Gooch
Support Staff
Kay is a South Carolina native who loves farm life with all her animals, obedience rallies, and lure courses showing her dog Lindy.
Jessica Ferqueron
Veterinary Technician
Jessica started with Clinton Animal Hospital in 2022.She is a Greenwood native and is currently attending Presbyterian College studying biology. She is planning on attending vet school after graduation. Jessica has 7 cats and an English Mastiff named Pip.
Carol Ann Burns
Support Staff
Carol is a Clinton native who joined our practice in 2006. She loves life on the farm with her 4 cats, 1 pig, 2 horses, 1 dog, 26 cows, and 33 chickens.
Brittany
Veterinary Technician
Brittany started working with us in 2022. She grew up in Saluda. She has 3 wonderful dogs and 1 cat. She is currently going to Penn Foster to become a licensed veterinary technician.
Olivia Estes
Receptionist/Surgery Technician
Olivia has been working at Clinton Animal Hospital since 2018. She knew she was in the right profession from growing up on a farm and being around animals all her life. She has always loved taking care of animals, especially bottle baby calves. She has a miniature poodle named Cypress, who is her world. Olivia is currently a student at Lander University studying Fine Arts.She enjoys photography and painting. In her spare time she enjoys reading and being in nature.
Allison Duncan
Veterinary Technician
Allison has known she’s wanted to be in the veterinary field since she was in the 6th grade. She has a brother and 2 sisters. In her free time, she enjoys riding horses, spending time with family and helping others any way that she can.
Jessica Hughes
Receptionist
Jessica has been saying she would work with animals since she was around 4-5 years old. She finally got her chance with Clinton Animal Hospital and jumped in 2022. It has been the best decision she has ever made. She has been married since 2016 and has 2 boys and 2 dogs. In her free time, she likes to read and watch movies with her kids.
Lauren Frantz
Kennel Technician
Lauren has always known she wanted to work with animals in some capacity. Growing up living on a lake in a family with lots of pets, she was exposed to both wildlife and domestic animals from an early age. Prior to working in the pet world, she graduated from Clemson with a degree in wildlife biology. When she’s not at work, you can usually find her at home curled up with a good book, a nice cup of coffee, and one or more of her many furbabies. She and her husband, Calvin, have quite the furry family and are always looking to grow it! Currently, they have one dog and four cats plus whatever fosters she drags home. She would love to have her own rescue someday.
