Outside of the clinic, Betty celebrates a blessed 20-year marriage and shares her home with a lively menagerie of 9 dogs and 6 cats. Her love for animals extends far beyond her work. She actively fosters for Too Broke Girls Rescue and Laurens County Animal Control and is the founder of Heart of LCAC, where she has made a meaningful impact on animal welfare throughout Laurens County.

Liza

Born and raised in the heart of Newberry, Liza has been a cornerstone of Clinton Animal Hospital since 2012. Over the years, she has become one of the clinic’s most trusted and essential team members. Her passion for veterinary medicine is evident in everything she does, and she truly loves caring for our patients. Whether she’s expertly placing a catheter, assisting in surgery, or helping ensure procedures run smoothly, Liza’s skill, precision, and calm confidence make her an indispensable part of our team and a cornerstone of our daily operations.

Outside of work, Liza is a devoted wife and mother. She and her husband have celebrated 15 wonderful years of marriage, and she is a proud mom to two amazing daughters. Her home is just as lively as the clinic, shared with 3 dogs, 5 cats, and a mischievous ferret named Loki, making every day an adventure.

When she isn’t at the clinic, Liza enjoys reading and simply spending quality time with her family. She is also a passionate sports fan and proudly cheers on the USC Gamecocks. If you’re ever looking to talk about the latest game, she’s always happy to join the conversation.

Leann

As a veterinary technician, she plays an important role in supporting our veterinarians during a variety of medical procedures and treatments.

From assisting doctors and administering medications to performing laboratory tests, Leann helps ensure that every patient receives compassionate, attentive care. Known for her gentle touch and sincere concern for all animals, she works hard to make sure each patient feels safe and cared for, creating a warm and welcoming experience for both pets and their families.

Her love for animals extends far beyond the clinic. At home, Leann cares for quite a unique menagerie, including 7 cats, 6 crested geckos, 2 poison dart frogs, and several fish—each one receiving the same level of care and affection she shows her patients.

When she’s not at the clinic, Leann enjoys relaxing with a good book and playing video games. Her dedication to animal care and her genuine compassion make her a valued member of the Clinton Animal Hospital team.

Hannah

A graduate of Piedmont Technical College with a degree in Veterinary Technology, Hannah brings both knowledge and compassion to every patient she cares for. Her passion for animals began at a young age, growing up surrounded by pets and developing a strong bond with animals of all kinds. At home, she continues to share that love with her own pets, Ava and Remi.

At home, Heather and her patient husband have created a lively household filled with animals, including four dogs, six cats, a flock of chickens, and a few goats that add both joy and a little bit of chaos to their days. When she’s not at work, Heather enjoys spending time outdoors camping and hiking with her family.

She is passionate about educating the community on responsible pet care and works tirelessly to support animals in need through her involvement with Heart of LCAC and her volunteer work with Laurens County Animal Control.

Outside of her professional work, Amy is a proud mother of two sons and a loving grandmother to two grandchildren. Her home is a lively sanctuary shared with 10 beloved dogs, each holding a special place in her heart.

Amy is also a Fear Free Certified professional (March 2024), committed to creating a calm, low-stress environment for every pet she works with. When she’s not caring for animals, she enjoys cheering on college football—especially her favorite team, the Crimson Tide.

Amy’s passion for animal welfare and devotion to her family shine through in everything she does. Around the clinic, you’ll often find Amy and her trusted sidekick, Trudy, helping care for appointments and ensuring clients and their pets feel welcome and supported. She also closely works with Heart LCAC.
