Dr. James, a true Clinton native, has deep roots in our community. Her journey into veterinary medicine began in 2000 at the prestigious Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. There, she displayed unwavering dedication and hard work, earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

Following her time at Ross University, Dr. James completed her clinical hours at the University of Illinois in 2004, further solidifying her expertise in animal health. In the same year, she returned to our clinic, quickly becoming an indispensable part of our family.
At home, Dr. James is supported by her loving and patient husband. Together, they raise their two children, Jack and Kate. Their bustling household is filled with 13 dogs, 4 cats, 15 guinea pigs, and a charming bunny, adding warmth and joy to their family life.
In her professional role, Dr. James embodies dedication and compassion. She wholeheartedly ensures that every pet that enters our doors receives the highest level of care. Her commitment to the happiness and health of your pets is unwavering—she will stop at nothing to see them thrive. Dr. James, Fear Free Certified since March 2024, dedicates herself to ensuring a stress-free veterinary experience for all her patients. At work, she’s often accompanied by her trio of rescue dogs: Annabelle, Murphy, and Pup Pup, her faithful shadows.
