Our Nose-to-Tail Approach

During each exam, we carefully check:

• Vital signs: Weight, temperature, heart rate, and breathing
• Physical health: Eyes, ears, mouth, skin, coat, and joints
• Nutrition & weight: Guidance on food, treats, and maintaining a healthy weight
• Lab tests: Screening for hidden health concerns and parasites
• Dental health: Making sure teeth and gums stay clean and healthy
• Vaccines: Protecting against common, preventable diseases

How Often Does My Pet Need an Exam?

Regular checkups are one of the most important ways to help your pet live a long, healthy life.

• Healthy adult pets: Once a year after their first birthday. Annual visits also allow us to renew prescriptions and perform the recommended yearly heartworm test.
• Senior pets: Often benefit from more frequent visits so we can monitor age-related changes and keep them comfortable and thriving.
